Decisions Determine Destiny…the path to YOU

So what is the motive for making a decision? When we make a decision we usually

want the decision to be beneficial to us…in other words “what will I get out of

this decision”?  Making a good decision doesn’t have to be difficult if you know

how to prepare yourself to make them.

When we look at the different Temperaments we can see how a person approaches a decision.

So what is the motive for making a decision? When we make a decision we look at our motives since these

will show us where we are emotionally .This will show us why decisions determine destiny

Decision making motives:

  • Decisions that include financial gain or loss
  • Decisions that include other people and the effect that these people have on you such as business or social gain. This can include career promotions and can include who you feel comfortable working with or partnering with
  • Decisions dealing with “affection” choosing a mate or deep personal friend.

The reason that we make decisions is for our own gain, safety or happiness. So why do we make “bad” decisions?

We make bad decisions because when we are depressed, we really aren’t quite sure what good motives are and what bad motives are.

When we become overwhelmed with work, family, marriage, or just life in general then depression begins.

I have found it very interesting to learn that depression starts from one source, and that source is how we think.

When we think happy thoughts, were able to make good decisions because we feel good about ourselves.

But when we think down or negatively we tend to make bad decisions or just don’t make decisions at all.
