Making emotional pain go away

Making emotional pain go awayMaking emotional pain go away

Making emotional pain go away Sounds simple doesn’t it?

But what this represents to millions is a controlling force that keeps people in bondage with no possibility of freedom.

Dr W H Penewit and his wife Rev. Linda Penewit have worked with people who have had clinical depression in their families for generations.

To these people depression and emotional pain can seem like a normal part of life

but when we leave the pain of depression unchecked it will lead to physical pain.

Making emotional pain go away where do I begin?

Making emotional pain go away

We begin by realizing that we don’t have to deal with emotional pain in our lives.

God didn’t design the human body to deal with emotional pain day after day.

Lets look at what Jesus told us in The Bible

John 15:11 These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full.

God designed us for joy, and that’s how our brain works best!

When we allow emotional pain to stay in our lives our brain simply doesn’t know how to handle it.

The toxic thoughts that we think can cause a chemical imbalance in our brain that will eventually cause physical pain.

Speak to what you can’t see

That’s right! Begin to speak to the pain that is in your thought life.

Speaking positive thoughts so that you can hear yourself speak will begin to change the chemical balance in your brain.

I know it seems simple but it works if you don’t give up!

When we had difficulties in our lives and say nothing these difficulties will run our lives.

When we have difficulties in life, research has proven that speaking words to the difficulties that we have causes us to have a better outlook on the situation.

What words do I speak?

Many therapists will suggest that speaking happy thoughts will help, and to a small degree it does help.

I have learned that reading The Bible out loud has the permanent lasting effect on the emotional pain.

Most people that I know who are suffering from depression have one thing in common, and that is they have low self esteem.

Most of these people have difficulty  believing that they even deserve to get out from under the pain of depression.

Reading scriptures from The Bible out-loud will begin to replace the negative feelings about ones self with positive feelings and emotions.

Here are two of my favorites:

Romans 3:22 even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction;

2 Corinthians 5:22 He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

These are just 2 of many Bible verses that tell you how blessed and wanted you are and how much God really loves you…

but different people process this in different ways, so the best way to begin

is to contact us and set up your first appointment. Learning about your Temperament is the best way to begin to understand how God wove you to be!
