Everything is going to be OK

 

Everything is going to be OKI’m sure that each one of you have heard this statement and infinite number of times in your life… Everything is going to be OK

 

When I was just a youngster I always had trouble going to sleep because I was afraid that the bogey man would get me.

So I would run down the stairs as fast as I could and dive in to my parents bed where they were sleeping

and I would hear the one statement “it’s OK son everything is going to be OK”.

 

That was in childhood… with the childhood fears and nightmares that would come and go.

 

But what about right now? What about today?

As an adult you may be married with a family, or you may have a high pressure job.

You may be a blue collar worker that works a 9 to 5.

You feel like the world is caving in around you, and there is nobody there but yourself.

A good night’s sleep Flees from you because your brain races all night long.

 

His answer to you will be the yes and amen…

If you are a born again Christian then you have specific rights given to you by your Heavenly Father.

As a son or daughter you have a right to be heard from your Heavenly Father and to receive and answer.

 

 

And God will answer you, do you know how he will answer you?

Perhaps when you began reading this article you expected to read something that dealt with counseling…

I consider what I am writing to you to be the most important aspect of mental health counseling

 

You wonder if everything is going to be OK.

Philippians 1:6 The Message Bible

“There has never been the slightest doubt in my mind that the God who started this great work in you

would keep at it and bring it to a flourishing finish on the very day Christ Jesus appears.“

I can assure you that your Heavenly Father’s Heart is to see you come out of all of this a success!

I can counsel you… and tell you what your temperament is… and make suggestions that will work…

But if we do not connect God’s love for you and his word to this council it very well may fall short.

 

I want you to know that I have all the tools of my trade, I am a well trained in them and I am an expert at what I do.

But without God’s wisdom in me I wouldn’t be able to do anything.

I want to help you connect God’s promises to counseling…I want to help dry your tears and see a smile on your face once again.

 

You can trust in God and his word and with you and me together… everything is going to be OK
