Stop the drama
Stop the drama!
Therapists realize one thing about humanity, and that there is a lot of drama in people’s lives that simply don’t need to be there. Drama comes in many forms but most often it comes because an individual wants to get their “two cents in” in someone else’s life that has really nothing to do with them.

I realized that everyone has an opinion, and everyone likes to voice their opinion… but all too often those opinions are never received in a positive way.
I’ve learned something over my many years on this planet something that I have taught my children and that is people are not interested and what you have to say they are only interested in you hearing what they have to say. Being a “good listener” not only gives you peace, but it brings peace to those are venting to you.

What I am getting at is this, if a family member or a friend is involved in drama…STAY AWAY FROM IT!
I’m not saying that you shouldn’t be there as a friend or give them moral support but concentrate your thoughts and words on them personally.
Saying things like “I’m here for you:, or “I’ll be praying for you”, or “call if you need to talk”. But even if they do call to talk to you then my suggestion is listen with a soft heart but stay away from the drama! Staying away from drama and not letting it into your life allows you to speak The Word more clearly into the lives of others.
I have followed this simple bit of advice in my own life and I can tell you that it’s made my life much easier and happier.
