The power of perception

 

Weaknesses…In the book of proverbs chapter 23 verse 7 it says,

“For as he thinks within himself, so he is.”

 

Have you ever looked at an individual who is highly successful and you simply cannot understand how they got to where they were?

 

The individual may not be all that smart or talented, but the way that they see themselves is the success that they have.

 

Did you know that the way you look at yourself is the way you will be?

 

In marriage counseling I am consistently telling my patients that the way they see themselves is the way that they will be in their life.

 

Here at Fort Worth Christian counseling we work with 5 different temperaments.

 

What is interesting to note is that each one of these temperaments has what we call “weaknesses”.

 

These weaknesses can be turned into strengths…the key is learning how.

 

 

We have learned over our years in practice that marriage difficulties are more an issue of how an individual sees themselves.

 

I’m sure that you all remember the Bible verse that says that we are fearfully and wonderfully made!

 

learning exactly how God wired you to be will show you where your weaknesses are, it will show you why you see yourself the way you do.
