You are not finished yet

Kenneth E Hagin made an epic statement when he said ” you must resign yourself to the fact that when you defeat Satan in one area he will come at you in another area. There is no doubt about it …it will happen so be ready for it.” ( paraphrased) You are not finished yet

This endeavor thatyou have begun for the Lord, this ministry is moving forward. I realize it isn’t easy because as I said in my last article Satan is not going to allow you to gain ground without paying for it.

If you ask any combat veteran they will all tell you the same thing, and that is when you are in a firefight mindset is vital! What I mean by that is you must keep your mind on your training and realize why you are in the battle to begin with.

When you are in a spiritual battle the same rule applies, and that rule is keep your mind where the battle is.

All too often as Christians we will pay attention to where the Battle Is In the Flesh, things like the money that I’m praying for is not coming in, my calendar is not filling up. Those are things in the flesh that we are looking at.

This next part is very important so listen very carefully …there is a difference between fact and Truth! The fact is that your calendar may not be filling up as quickly as you would like to see it, or the finances that you are praying for have not shown up when you needed it. But the truth is that Jesus said whatever you ask The Father in my name he will give it to you.

The battle is always in the realm of the spirit not in the realm of the flesh. If you keep your mind in the flesh you will not be on the battlefield you will be on a battlefield where you can be defeated because You are not finished yet

You do have weapons,but they are spiritual in nature and you have to know what they are so let’s look at Ephesians chapter 1 starting at verse 17

“that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,  far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named,not only in this age but also in the one to come. And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church,which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

Did you read the part that said that Jesus was raised from the dead and seated at God’s right hand far above all rule Authority power and Dominion?

That’s good news for us but here is even better news much luck at Ephesians chapter 2 verse 6

“and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,”

What this means is that everything that is under the feet of Jesus is under your feet too because you are sitting with him in the same room.

So what I’m asking you to do is read this first chapter of Ephesians over and over and over and over again. Until you memorize it and realize that you have the weapons of your Warfare that you need to push forward.

I’m not saying the journey will be an easy one, but it will be worth it.

The first one third or so of our day that Linda and I spend praying, interceding, taking authority over the ground that the devil thinks that he has taken. We always take it back because we exercise The Authority that we have as believers.

We simply will not allow the devil to shut us down! We will not let him keep people from coming that need to come to us! This simply is not an option in our ministry! It isn’t going to happen! Because we say so, God says so, and his word says so!
