Finding the “lost hope” in your marriage

Dr. W.H. Penewit

"lost hope"“lost hope” does hope really spring eternal?

Lost hope? We’ve all heard the old saying, “hope springs eternal”…  And I am certain that we have all experienced it in our lives.

But what about “lost hope”?

I am talking about that time in our lives where we completely lose hope that everything is going to be OK.

It is during those times that life seems to be the most difficult.

Either your boss seems to be impossible to work with and you can’t see a way out,

or the relationship with your mate seems to have drained every last ounce of a hope that you have.

The arch enemy of trying to find hope in your life is time.

Time will march on and hope that seems to get further and further away from your life.

“lost hope” Where does God and counseling fit into all of this?

God is the god of hope and he does have a plan for your job, or your marriage,

or any other situation where you seem to have lost hope.

Lets look at Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord,
thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.
God will always have a positive plan for your life, and if you give him the opportunity’s he will make sure that it comes to pass!

“lost hope” Taking the next step

There are specific steps that we can take and get that hope back into our lives.

I’m sure that you have heard the old adage “what makes me tick”

What if I told you there is a way that you can learn exactly and completely what makes your mate tick?

And what if I told you that there is a way to communicate with your mate in such a way that you will not anger them?
