Living in fear or walking by faith?

living in fear

Living in fear is not God’s plan for us!

Isolation and loneliness seem to be on a fast-track to being normal now, a result of the pandemic scare and media hype.

Out of fear of getting sick, we are told to avoid other people. Don’t go out. Stay at home!

And above all else, don’t go to church or other gatherings. It could be dangerous!

This is not an epidemic of the flu: it’s an epidemic of FEAR. And it’s more deadly than cancer.

Our world has faced viruses year after year since the fall of man.

Yes, it’s sad when loved ones get sick and die. It’s hard. Life is hard!

But we are all going to die, eventually, unless we live long enough to see His return.

Despite this, we can not live our lives in fear.

Did you know that fear lowers our immune system significantly?

That means that fear can cause the very thing we are afraid of!

Life involves risk.

You take a risk every time you cross the street or drive your car.

You take a risk every time to send a letter in the mail or put money in the bank.

(Did you realize that?)

EVERYTHING involves risk. Don’t be afraid!

Remember that over and over in Scripture we are told to “Fear not!”

We can move past our fear by faith!

F.A.I.T.H. – Forsaking All I Trust Him.

Claim His promises for strength and push past your fears.

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. — 2 Timothy 1:7

Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. — Isaiah 41:10

You must not fear them, for the Lord your God Himself fights for you. — Deuteronomy 3:22

And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed. — Deuteronomy 31: 8

We have HIS WORD on it. Trust that and move forward…
